Our mission
FAST-NU Alumni Association, United States Chapter was formed to reach, serve, and engage the FAST-NU alumni residing in the United States of America and help connect the University and its graduates. FAA-US is a registered 501(c)3 organization in the state of Washington and aims to provide the current students with goodwill and financial support. Our mission is to reach, serve, and engage all FAST-NU alumni and students to foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional connection between the University and its graduates. FAA-US shall strive to procure in its affairs and activities the participation and representation of students of all races, gender, origin, and linguistic or ethnic backgrounds without giving preference to any group.
Our work
FAST Scholarship FundFAA-US has been helping capable and needy students at FAST for the last two decades. FAA-US's financial assistance program has been a great success and by enabling students from needy families, it has been able to create a constant source of earning for these families. There are numerous examples where capable students supported by FAA-US have completed their degrees and then went on to secure top notch jobs. This is a multi-facet opportunity to return something to your Alma Mater, help create a sustainable source of income for families which otherwise are struggling to manage and help capable students complete their higher education and hence contribute to the society.

FAST Research FundThe FAST research fund is a new initiative to bootstrap research opportunities for students. The goal is to fund limited but broadly applicable research projects that will be publishable in world class, reputable venues such as global ACM or IEEE forums with high impact factors. The board will solicit a network of research scientists from FAST alumni to review research proposals and adhere to the highest standards similar to agencies such as the US National Science Foundation (NSF). Funded and published research will acknowledge the sources of funds, including names of non-anonymous donors.
